hey that's me!

I'm the artist behind all the fluffy scouts you've been seeing. The world keeps telling us to "grow up," "act your age," "be an adult," but... I never could let go of my child-like nature. I've always loved plushies and I don't imagine that will ever change.

Considering you're here, I'm assuming you love plushies too! Btw my name is Anna, and we should be friends! And as friends do, let's laugh at some of my childhood photos together (ft. cute plushies, obviously!) After that, I'll let you in on some Bobbin Scouts lore.

Why was I so tan as a kid?! Despite living in Florida now, I don't see the sun as much as I probably should *nervous laugh*

Anyways, onto the Bobbin Scouts ~lore~!

What even are scouts?

I originally made these little ones with owls in mind since they're my favorite animal. They still resemble owls, but during the prototyping process they morphed into what they are now, which I simply call Scouts!

Okay? But why the name Bobbin Scouts then?

Well, I was never a scout growing up, but I always liked the concept. From what I understand, scouts try to spread love and kindness and help the people around them. And that's exactly what I'm trying to do with my scouts!

As for the "bobbin" part of the name, that has two reasons. The first being, these are sewn plushies and bobbins are an important tool in sewing. You don't really want your thread in a heaping pile getting all tangled, now do you? The second reason is related to my cat! I have a lovely cat named Lulu but one of her main nicknames (of which she has many) is Lobbin Bobbin.
